Construction [Back]

(0-1)       (0-1)      =    Length

(0-2)       (0-2)            =     Armhole length = (0-5)  measure   [with sleeve]    or
                                        (0-5) measure   minus    ½” to ¾”  [without sleeve]
(2-3)      =     ¼ upper chest + ½”
(1-4)      =    ¼ waist round + 1”(dart width)
(0-5)      =     ½   shoulder
(5-6)      =    ½” down  (shoulder slope)
(0-7)      =   Neck width (3”)   or    1/6 Neck round      ;        Join (7-6)
(0-8)      =   ½” down  ;    Join (7-8) with smooth curve
(0-9)      =   Back neck depth;       Join  (8-9) any shape
(3-3’)     =  1” to 1 ½ ”     ;             Join (9-3’)


For armhole
X    = midpoint of (6-a)
(a-b)  =  1” to 1 ¼”
Join (6-x-b-3)= back arm curve = ½ armhole round (with sleeve)

 (0-8)        =   (0-7) measure + ½”  ;         Join (7-8) with smooth curve
 (0-9)        =   Front neck depth ;             Join  (8-9) any shape
 (3-3’)       =  1” to 1 ½” ;                          Join (9-3’)
 (0-10)       = Nipple point length
 (10-11)     =  horizontal line
 (10-12) & (1-13)     =    ½ cup width  (distance between the nipple point)
 (13-14) & (13-15)   =   1” + 1”  =  2”

For armhole
X    = midpoint of (6-a)

(0-2) &  (1-3)    =       1/2  neck + 1/4" (for seam allowance)

    Am having a small doubt about princess cut blouse while joining two pieces with piping am getting this extra cloth..... is it correct?????
